More Than A Rally

Held under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, H.E. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the Genghis Khan Rally is not simply another rally raid.

It is an expedition across one of the last truly wild places on earth, vast steppes and Gobi desert of southern and southwestern Mongolia.

From endless steppe and mountain passes to remote desert tracks, competitors navigate where endurance, strategy and self-reliance matter as much as speed. The event is organized by Nomadic Off-Road, the country's leading enduro operator.

The track and roadbook are elaborated by Cap 204 SL a company based in Spain that specializes in rally training and roadbook events in Spain, Morocco and Portugal. The roadbook will be FIM spec, navigation will be intense and demanding. Prepare yourself for a real navigation challenge.

The 2026 route is finalized.

Altanbulag

A 22km loop around Altanbulag to set the SS1 start order — and the first shakedown for man and machine.

Altanbulag – Buren

A short 3km liaison leads into a 372km special stage. A 50km neutralization into Ondorshireet allows for refueling, before the route turns south, then sweeps northwest into Buren.

Buren Loop

Stage 2 is a loop stage starting and finishing in Buren, covering a timed special stage of 379 km, plus a 23 km neutralization through Delgerkhaan for refueling. Riders will tackle the loop anti-clockwise, with navigation as the defining challenge of the day — testing route-reading and decision-making as much as riding skill.

Buren - Altanbulag

Stage 3 pushes riders from Buren to Altanbulag over a 370 km special stage, broken only by a neutralized refuel in Bayan-Unjuul. No liaison, no easing off — just one long day in the saddle.
